Safeguarding & Conduct Agreement

Our expectations for dancers, parents and carers are: -

• Respect for stay and participants

• Zero tolerance for abuse, harassment, discrimination

• Appropriate language and behaviour

• Boundaries between staY and participants

• No physical contact without consent and context

• No private messaging stay regarding WE ARE MD

• Reporting concerns or disclosures

• To participate in discussions regarding diYerent topics including but not limited to

disability, race, gender, religion and crime.

• To be contacted by lead stay member if any issues arise

Photography, Video & Media Consent

Photos/Videos being stored on WE ARE MD devices

Photos/Videos being stored on a secure cloud

Personal phones are not to be used unless authorised prior and no images will be shared unless prior consent has been sought.

Social Media & Digital Boundaries

• Participants should not DM stay personally

• Stay will not follow under 18s from personal accounts

• Only media shared from WE ARE MD to be reshared

• No filming or taking photos of others without consent

• No posting from sessions unless agreed

Transport, Travel & Lifts

I understand lifts are only provided where agreed and risk assessed

I understand one-to-one transport is avoided where possible

Community & Commercial

Community is open to everyone to participate in. Sessions are inclusive, nurturing and

supportive. A wide range of topics will be covered during sessions. Sessions are less formal

but there is an expectation that you arrive on time and ready.

Commercial delivery style is set at a commercial standard. There will be a selection process

for participants to take part in commercial sessions. Places aren’t always guaranteed for

everyone and participants could change depending on client needs.

All relationships are not to be bought into WE ARE MD and any issues are to stay at the door

and be sorted outside of WE ARE MD.

I understand the difference between community and commercial sessions

Data Protection & GDPR

WE ARE MD collect relevant data to enable us to work safely and give the best service we can.

We collect data for funders and it’s stored for as long as necessary. Only authorised WE ARE

MD stay can access the information.

You have a right to withdraw consent at any time and request that all information is deleted.
